Their love started at a farmers market. Brett was running a stand there (he founded the Pittsburgh Urban Garden Project - check it out!) and Daniela was visiting the market. You can see why there was an immediate attraction. Just look at them. Their relationship really started to grow after they realized how much they both adore traveling. These two have been to so many amazing places together. It’s pretty awesome to have an adventure buddy for life.
Daniela & Brett did their wedding right. A full weekend of celebrating.
Friday, they got ready in Mt. Washington and had a small ceremony at St. Mary of the Mount. I don’t give Mt. Washington enough credit sometimes. That neighborhood has so much character, and beautiful old houses! We set up their first look at the Duquesne Incline overlook. By the grace of good vibes, they had the entire overlook to them selves. They then walked to their ceremony together and arm and arm down the aisle. After the ceremony they had a warm, lively and intimate dinner at DiAnoia’s in the Strip District. Day 1 was a blast.
Saturday was the real party. This day took place in another awesome neighborhood in Pittsburgh, the North Side. They gathered with a few close pals on the North Shore first, then the group walked to Federal Galley together for the reception. Though not before we stopped at the Clark Factory for a few awesome photos. I stole them for a few more portraits at West Park before they got their party on. It was worth it.
Federal Galley is a killer spot of a wedding, or any event really! It’s cool, comfortable and spacious. Also a perfect blank slate for any vision. Also, live music sounds GREAT in there.
Congratulations Daniela & Brett! You two are amazing and so was your weekend.
